Thank You, Mark Gotchall: Honoring a Remarkable Career at Oregon Fuel Injection

We at Oregon Fuel Injection (OFI) would like to take a moment to reflect on our longest-tenured employee who will be retiring on July 31, 2025, after 44 ½ years with us.

Mark Gotchall began his career in January of 1981 at age 20, fresh out of Wyoming Technical Institute. His persistence is what led then-owner Larry Haven to hire him, and that is what has pushed Mark to continue forming his legacy here throughout parts of five decades.

Mark ventured a few hours south to the city of Medford to open a new branch of OFI there in the mid-80s, and a few years later helped to open a location between Eugene and Medford when the company expanded into the city of Roseburg.

Mark worked directly with Larry for the first twenty years of his career to learn all aspects of the business. He was here for the implementation of the first computer system, and he worked hand in hand with the web developer to create the first website for OFI. Mark helped develop tools for tracking business growth and our technicians’ production, and he worked tirelessly to navigate the challenges of the ever-changing diesel industry through every economic dip and hurdle along the way.

Mark has been a constant presence here at OFI and will now be entering the next chapter of his life in retirement. He will now be a full-time grandpa, hunter, angler, photographer, traveler, etc. He has given more of his time, energy, and expertise to Oregon Fuel Injection than we could have ever asked for over the years.

We want to wish Mark all the best life has to offer as he takes on his next challenge, retirement.

Thank you, Mark.
