If your Ford F-Series truck develops a P0087 (Fuel Rail Pressure Low) code, it could be due to the high pressure pump receiving little to no fuel. This can lead to aeration in the fuel, and ultimately failure of your CP4 pump. Or if Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) was accidentally added to the fuel system, that will damage the pump, fuel rails and injectors.
