S&B Filters diesel performance intake kits are all about improving airflow to your truck’s engine. The S&B 75-5103D flows 42.37% better than the factory air box while removing 99.60% of the airborne dirt. Better airflow translates into a noticeable increase in power, acceleration and economy.

The one piece air box design features an integrated box seal that keeps out unwanted engine heat. The cooler the air, the greater the density, resulting in better performance. Premium silicone seals won’t tear or crack and can handle temperatures as high as 400℉.

With a properly mapped Mass Air Sensor, this kit was designed to avoid check engine lights. This is where S&B runs away from the competition as vehicles are becoming more complex. They devote a huge amount of resources to engineer intakes that will allow your engine to run properly with the stock calibration or with enhanced tuning.

The box has a secondary inlet that increases airflow. A silicone plug is included for those who prefer to pull air through only the factory hood inlet.

The hood scoop inlet holds the clear lid with no hardware required. It snaps easily into place for a snug, perfect fit

Do you want a dry disposable filter?  This question really comes down to the driving environment. Dry filters are better for dry/dusty areas. The oiled filters flow slightly better, but the oil can skew the mass air flow sensor.  We recommend dry filters for any vehicle equipped with a MAF sensor. Since you are not sacrificing performance with either choice, the decision comes down to where you drive and how you want to service the filter.
