S&B Filters diesel performance intake kits are all about improving airflow to your truck’s engine. The S&B 75-5102 flows 43.69% better then the factory air box while removing 99.52% of the airborne dirt. Better airflow translates into a noticeable increase in power, acceleration and economy.

The one piece air box design features an integrated box seal that keeps out unwanted engine heat. The cooler the air, the greater the density, resulting in better performance. Premium silicone seals won’t tear or crack and can handle temperatures as high as 400℉.

Do you want an oiled cleanable filter?  This question really comes down to the driving environment. The dry filters are better suited for dry/dusty areas. The oiled filters flow slightly better, but the oil can skew the mass air flow sensor.  We recommend dry filters for any vehicle equipped with a MAF sensor. Since you are not sacrificing performance with either choice, the decision comes down to where you drive and how you want to service the filter.

*Note: Is your vehicle a LLY or LB7? Check the eighth digit of your VIN to find out. If it’s a 2 you’ve got a LLY and you’ll need this kit. If it’s a 1 you’ve got an LB7 and need the LB7 Intake Kit
